Eastbourne Ashridge Circle

Charity Logo Design

Client: Eastbourne Ashridge Circle

Project: Charity Logo Design

I was contacted by the Eastbourne Ashridge Circle, a long-standing charity & one of the largest lecture groups in the country. Looking to redesign their very dated logo, I was offered the opportunity to help them through this process.

The main elements of the brief was to have a new, fresh & simple design, whilst remaining non-political especially with the choice of colours, and, if possible alluding to their Eastbourne location.

The chosen logo shows a seagull soaring high, created by combining the initial ‘a’ & ‘e’, but with a twist, this being it also forms the South Downs above the sea, with the bird forming the famed Beachy Head cliffs, the icon is then paired with the same classic sans serif typeface.
